Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of personal injury defense cases, ensuring that all cases are handled efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct thorough and detailed investigations to gather all pertinent information and evidence related to each case.
- Develop and implement robust defense strategies, tailored to the specific circumstances of each case.
- Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel, striving to achieve the best possible outcome for our clients.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, presenting clear and compelling arguments in their defense.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents, ensuring that all legal advice provided is accurate and current.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, providing them with regular updates on the progress of their case and addressing any concerns or queries they may have.
- Collaborate with other members of the legal team, contributing to the overall success and reputation of our firm.
Qualifications - Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active member of the State Bar in good standing.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Personal Injury Defense Attorney.
- Proven track record in civil litigation and negotiation.
- Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
